Australian consumers can look forward to the Senzu electronics range hitting their shelves in the coming months. Synnex, one of Australia's largest distribution companies, has just reported the signing of a deal that gives them exclusive rights to distribute the Senzu range locally. This deal can only be positive for consumers, resulting in greater choice and lower prices.
Senzu is a young brand that represents a unique partnership between Synnex and a consortium of leading manufacturers from Taiwan, Korea and China. The brand is rather narrowly available in Clive Peeters, Retail Adventures and Retravision Western, but the new partnership is designed to further increase product availablity and sales in Australia.
"The Senzu range offers customers quality products at an affordable price and it is important that we provide our retailers with the peace of mind they are dealing with an established trusted supplier that provides a fast and efficient service. Synnex has strong relationships with Australian retailers which will help us launch the Senzu products into a very competitive market," Senzu's sales manager Ziad Yaacoub said.
The Senzu product range includes LED and LCD televisions, Blu-ray and DVD players, PVR and digital set top boxes, Hi-Fi audio products and accessories.
"We are looking forward to launching the Senzu range of products in Australia. They provide a value alternative to the premium brands for the consumer and we expect them to be popular with our retail customers," Synnex's CEO Kee Ong commented.
Synnex Technology International (Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and ANZ) announced record profits for 2009. Revenue was $7.92 billion and pre-tax income was $200 million. Their profit increased by 44 per cent compared to 2008.
